My Story
Justin T. Blankennagel is an emerging event planner stepping into the industry as the new President and Owner of JTB Events. In 2024, he took over the reins from his aunt, who retired after years of successfully building the company into a trusted name in event planning.
With a strong foundation in business and banking, Justin brings a unique skill set to the world of event planning. His experience in financial management, strategic planning, and client relations provides him with the tools to run a successful operation while delivering creative, high-quality events.
Although new to the industry, Justin has always been inspired by his aunt's ability to bring people together through memorable occasions. He is excited to blend his passion for organization and creativity with his professional expertise, ensuring JTB Events continues to thrive and grow.

Jan T. Blankennagel is the founder of JTB Events, a renowned event planning business known for creating unforgettable experiences for clients. Jan established the company in 2002, driven by a passion for creativity, organization, and bringing people together through beautifully orchestrated events.
Under her leadership, JTB Events became a trusted name in the industry, specializing in Private Parties, Fundraisers, Galas, Golf Tournaments, Corporate Events and more. Over 23 years, Jan and JTB Events successfully planned and executed hundreds of events, earning accolades for attention to detail, innovated designs and personal service.
